If you absolutely have to tick this off your list then go and do it, but I don't recommend it at all, unless it's an approach route on MTB or gravel bike, but then you probably would've gone up Mapridge Green Road to get on the nice ridge bridleway earlier. The surface is shocking, and there aren't many places to go when cars come the other way. Views are severely impeded by hedges. A solid small climb with a short section above 10%. Not much to see, and the surface isn’t great. While the tarmac is smooth, it’s coated in flint nodules, which tend to congregate in the middle where car tyres don’t go. Fortunately there are virtually no cars.
