First stretch is a wide traffic road, slightly climbing, then you take a narrow forest road with a bit less asphalt, passing under the citadel. You then join the normal access route to the citadel. Here it gets a bit steeper, but is good tarmac. You pass the dry moat and walls and climb the final stretch to the citadel where you emerge at the church with some cobbles. The last gate is regulated by a traffic light. Inside the citadel you can drive around a bit (poor road surface on average). Some of it makes a somewhat deserted and sad impression, but maybe that will be different when the sun shines. Climb in itself is not very special, but the scenery is.
Eerste stuk is een brede verkeersweg, licht klimmend, dan neem je een smal bosweggetje met wat minder asfalt, waarbij je onder de citadel langs rijdt. Je komt dan op de normale toegangsroute naar de citadel. Hier wordt het wat steiler, maar is het goed asfalt. Je passeert de droge gracht en de muren en klimt het laatste stuk naar de citadel waarbij je uitkomt bij de kerk met wat kasseien. De laatste poort wordt gereguleerd met een stoplicht. In de citadel kun je wat rondrijden (slecht wegdek gemiddeld). Een en ander maakt een wat verlaten en triestige indruk, maar misschien is dat anders als de zon schijnt. Klim is op zich niet heel bijzonder, maar de omgeving wel.
