It is not really steep and therefore not that difficult, were it not for the cobbles. In winter it is very slippery, and then shifting gears is really important. Otherwise it's wobble and run.
Echt steil is het niet en dus niet zo moeilijk, ware het niet dat er kasseien liggen. In de winter is het zeer glad, en dan is schakelen echt belangrijk. Anders is het wiebelen en lopen.

In itself not the steepest hill in the region. The combination of cobbles and a hairpin bend (on the cobbles) make this a pretty tough slope.
In wet winter weather, it is extremely slippery, so there is a lot of sliding.

Op zich niet de steilste heuvel in de streek. De combinatie van kasseien en een haarspeldbocht (op de kasseien) maken dit best wel een stevige helling.
Met nat winters weer wel enorm glad, dus veel geschuif.
The message that is mentioned (that it is largely closed), is not correct anymore since a year or two. You can drive on it now. The slope in itself is not that bad. It's the cobblestones that do it. That's why this is the last climb of Dwars door het Hageland.
De melding die erbij staat (dat het grotendeels is afgesloten), klopt sinds een jaar of twee niet meer. Je kan er nu weldegelijk over rijden. An sich stelt de helling niet zo veel voor. Het zijn de kasseien die het hem doen. Daarom dat dit de laatste helling van Dwars door het Hageland is.
Delicious climb, so you can't miss this one either in my opinion. It's part of Dwars door het Hageland and will take you to the Citadel of Diest. On cobblestones and under trees with a hairpin bend, what more could you want? I thought I'd turn it on, but if you stand up, there's a chance you'll fall on your knees, haha.
Heerlijke klim, deze mag je dus ook niet missen vind ik. Zit in Dwars door het Hageland en brengt je naar de Citadel van Diest. Dit over kasseien en onder de bomen met een haarspeldbocht, wat wil je nog meer? Ik dacht ik zet ff aan maar als je gaat staan bestaat de kans dat je op je plaat gaat haha.
