Nice little climb as you leave Malmedy. Never gets really steep but does go on for a while. Just a shame about the heavy traffic.
Tip: We rented a cottage located at the top of the hill. If we wanted to cycle back to the cottage from Malmedy, we had to take the first part of the climb until after the hairpin bends. After the hairpins, we took the first right (identifiable by a bus stop) and it was steep uphill towards our rental cottage. This last bit is not long, but it made for just a bit more fun (and more pain in the legs).
Leuk klimmetje als je Malmedy verlaat. Wordt nooit echt steil maar loopt toch even door. Alleen jammer van het drukke verkeer.
Tip: Wij huurden een huisje gelegen op de top van de heuvel. Als we vanuit Malmedy terug naar het huisje wilden fietsen, moesten we het eerste stuk van de klim nemen tot na de haarspeldbochtjes. Na de haarspeldbochtjes namen we de eerste rechts (herkenbaar aan een bushalte) en was het steil omhoog richting ons huurhuisje. Dit laatste stukje is niet lang, maar het zorgden voor net wat meer fun (en meer pijn in de benen).
If you make the round trip, Robertville - Ovifat - Longfaye - Mont - Malmedy and back to Robertville, this slope is present. When leaving Malmedy, this climb starts after a left turn. There are also hairpin bends in it and those are always nice. The only downside is the traffic that can be present.
Als je het rondje, Robertville - Ovifat - Longfaye - Mont - Malmedy en terug naar Robertville maakt is deze helling aanwezig. Bij het uitrijden van Malmedy begint deze klim na een bocht naar links. Verder zitten er ook haarspeldbochten in en die zijn altijd leuk. Enige minpuntje is het verkeer dat aanwezig kan zijn.
