Exceptional climb, very demanding but very satisfying. Up to Duno it is rideable, with average gradients of around 5-6%. There are numerous fountains in the town, but unfortunately at the time I tackled it they were all closed (mid-October), so be careful to arrive prepared. The second part of the climb is tough and does not spare your legs, plus the road surface is very dirty and uneven. When you reach the San Martino car park, the sight of the finish sign is refreshing, but the last two ramps to reach the belvedere are deadly, with gradients of 15%. The view from the belvedere is very beautiful. Beware of the descent, which is very technical, on uneven ground, dirty and strewn with stones, so pull on the brakes! From Duno onwards, traffic is non-existent. A climb not to be missed!

It is a tough climb, the middle three kilometres are deadly in my opinion. The woods, the shade, the absence of cars and the final view of the Val Cuvia repay the effort. After Duno, the road is very narrow and the surface is in poor condition.

Very beautiful climb that ends at the church of San Martino. The road is almost car-free. Beware that, after days of rain, it can be dirty and full of debris. You descend from where you ascend.

Beautiful and tough climb. From Cuveglio to Duno, a constant gradient that is never prohibitive. Immediately after Duno, 3 km begin with a constant gradient above 10%. Three kilometres from the summit 800 metres in which you catch your breath, after which the gradients return at around 9%. After the last hairpin bend, 600 deadly metres begin, the last 50 metres of which are over 20%. A very beautiful route through coniferous forests, but the road is very narrow and uneven.

Salita bella e dura.

Very beautiful and demanding climb. Also doable in high summer, as it is sheltered almost entirely by dense forest. Numerous drinking fountains along the way. Some closed but some usable. Out of 6/7 times completed, 3 punctures. Very discouraging. Numerous pebbles and small stones difficult to avoid and see that play tricks on you. Too bad because the climb and the view are worth it
