You can spice up the climb to La Haze or to Lincé from Souverain Pré by starting at this slope. From Esneux, continue a bit longer along the Ourthe and then plod up this slope over the railway viaduct. You pick up the long climb again at the end.
It is pretty steep. Not busy, except around school drop-off and pick-up times: you pass a primary school, where you navigate agonisingly slowly between kids and parents at these times. Entertaining.
Je kunt de klim naar La Haze of naar Lincé vanuit Souverain Pré opleuken door bij deze helling te beginnen. Vanuit Esneux wat langer langs de Ourthe doorrijden en dan over het spoorviaduct deze helling opploeteren. Je pakt op het einde weer de lange klim op.
Hij is verdraaid steil. Niet druk, behalve rond schooltijden van wegbrengen en ophalen: je passeert een lagere school, waar je op deze tijden tergend langzaam tussen grut en ouders laveert. Vermakelijk.
Very steep variation on the start of the other climbs that start in Souverain-Pré. For the climb itself you don't have to make a detour, only if you want to make e.g. "Betgné" or "champ de la Haze" a bit spicier.
