In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful routes to cycle in the Brussels region! Beware of walkers (and oncoming cyclists) though, as there are quite a few turns with little visibility.

A very beautiful place to walk, in the middle of the Forêt de Soignes! The road is closed to car traffic, but there are plenty of walkers. Be careful on the descents...

Beautiful forest road, so there is a lot of scenery to enjoy. Lots of pedestrians, sometimes with dogs, so caution on the downhills!

As far as I'm concerned, this is the most beautiful cycle path in the Brussels area. The forest looks different every week! You can enjoy the climbs, but most of all you should enjoy the surroundings.

A must when you are in Brussels: double hump in the middle of the forest, perfect surface, long enough to enjoy a few minutes. Enjoy :-).

Enjoy :-).

In the Forêt de Soignés, relatively busy (trained cyclists and pedestrians) in both directions. Keep to the right!

Beautiful and very pleasant climb entirely in the forest. Lots of cyclists and, beware, lots of walkers during the week!
After the summit, you can continue further into the forest, still on an excellent surface. Nice oxygen cure !

One of the most pleasant places to cycle in Brussels... when there aren't too many walkers with their dogs on a leash, or worse, without a leash, occupying the whole width of the road without caring about other people. I have seen accidents there. On sunny weekends, it can get really crowded!

Otherwise, the sequence of the two climbs is very pleasant to do, at least when you are not tired after a long ride. Don't get carried away by the speed you can take on the descents, some bends have little or no visibility and there can always be someone coming the other way...

2 nice climbs on perfect tarmac through the woods, with a descent in between. You cycle in the green, no cars. In the other direction a very nice descent. In both directions it is one of my most favorite parts to cycle, it is just beautiful, enjoy, and climbing. It is not really difficult, not really too steep uphill.
