Beautiful climb from Zagreb with a whole bunch of hairpin bends. The climb starts from the northern residential areas of Zagreb and you soon enter the quiet of the forest. The climb is never really steep, but it is a long one for the region with its 13km. The road is not crowded with traffic, but the cars that overtake you do so like crazy. But actually that is usual everywhere in Croatia. The climbing continues through the forest and from about six kilometres from the top you get the first view... read more

The climbing continues through the forest and from about six kilometres from the top you get the first views of Zagreb. The road surface is okay, the descent on the western side I found lousy.
I would give this climb 3.5 stars, but because the rest of the area near Zagreb is so ugly I round it off to 4 stars for the region :p
