The first part is beautiful with a nice village and nice views. After that, the road surface is often poor. Until you get halfway to the SP13, the road surface is dramatic and it is also very steep. Climbfinder indicates 12% but Garmin says 15%!
In the second part of the climb, the road surface is even worse! The descent you have to do really slowly.
Back to Sarzana we went via Fosdinovo, the road is better there.
