I have done it hundreds of times, great warm-up hill before the big stuff namely Coll de Sa Battalla via Caimari. Lovely regular climb on great tarmac with an early little harder kicker to get you going. Never much traffic but look out for those descending very fast.
This is a fine warm-up towards the bigger stuff. Coming from the east, along a nice traffic-free road from Pollenca, the climb starts easily. Just before you reach the village, you still have to work up a bit.
A minute further on, you can sit in the sun on Plaza Major and drink coffee at authentic tents. Highly recommended to take a break!
