A great climb - definitely the hardest in East Sussex. 12 to 14% on this is the easy bit. The flatter section at the top is so you have an opportunity to question your life choices and everything that has led you to this hill.

It's a really Nice climb, I ame slightly confused by the Climbing times above as I have submitted it in 2:44 on a mountain bike. Really good climb, not much scenery but a lovely one to empty the tank on before the roll back to the pub 🍻

I think you must be confused. This climb has a competition on it every year and has the best riders in the country trying to get up there as fast as they can. The current No.1 time on Strava is 3:11 (18.8 mph), which is mind-blowingly fast.
