De klim begint relaxed langs een park (met links uitzicht op een oude stadspoort) maar gaat flink stijgen als je de brug in zicht hebt. Op de brug loopt de weg even vlak en daarna stijgt deze weer lekker tot de stoplichten. Prima asfalt.
