After descending the Keunestraat from Cadier en Keer (watch out for the bends) you go up via a hollow road through the forest. When you get under the trees today you have had the worst of it and the climb continues as false flat until the junction with 't Rooth/Keerderweg. This climb was in the time trial course during the 2012 World Cycling Championships in/around Valkenburg.
Na afdaling van de Keunestraat vanuit Cadier en Keer (opletten in de bochten) ga je via een holle weg door het bos omhoog. Als je onder de bomen vandaag komt heb je het ergste gehad en loopt de klim als vals plat verder tot aan de splitsing met 't Rooth/Keerderweg. Deze klim zat tijdens het WK Wielrennen 2012 in/rond Valkenburg in het tijdritparcours.
Immediately left with the throttle open because of the "short" climb. But I made a mistake :)

Dadelijk met de gashendel open vertrokken owv de "korte" klim. Toch even mispakt :)
Mooie groene klim.
A climb through a deep hollow road (which can feel quite cold). The climb starts relaxed in a beautiful valley. After the right hand corner the road climbs slightly. In the curve to the left is suddenly considerably higher. You see then to "top" lie and then the road still slightly rises. Beautiful green surroundings but little view.
Een klim door een diepe holle weg (die behoorlijk koud kan aanvoelen). De klim begint relaxed in een mooi dalletje. Na de bocht naar rechts klimt de weg licht slingerend door. In de bocht naar links gaat het ineens flink omhoog. Je ziet dan aan "top" liggen naar daarna stijgt de weg nog steeds lichtjes door. Mooie groene omgeving maar weinig uitzicht.
A deeply worn road rising from the valley behind Cadier en Keer. After the obligatory descent of the Keunestraat we have to watch out for a blind left-right curve. The climb is not very hard, but it has a nasty twist just after the left turn.
Een diep ingesleten weg die uit het dal achter Cadier en Keer omhoog loopt. Na de verplichte afdaling van de Keunestraat even opletten met een blinde linksrechts bocht. De klim is niet heel zwaar, maar heeft een gemene knik net na de bocht naar links.
A large hollow road that runs beautifully through the forest. The road is often used as a descent after the bemelerberg, but also fun to climb.
Een flinke holleweg die mooi door het bos loopt. De weg wordt vaak gebruikt als afdaling na de bemelerberg, maar ook zeker leuk om te beklimmen.
