The highest point of the road is not where the Buchener Höhe is marked on the map, but about 600 m before. After that, it's already downhill again. The road impresses with its very even gradient. In the lower third, the road is very busy. There is no pass sign at the top, only a bus stop ("Bucher Höhe") and a closed snack station ("Buchner Höh").
Die höchste Stelle der Straße ist nicht da, wo die Buchener Höhe in der Karte verzeichnet ist, sondern ca. 600 m vorher. Danach geht's schon wieder bergab. Die Straße besticht durch ihre sehr gleichmäßige Steigung. Im unteren Drittel ist die Straße sehr stark befahren. Auf der Höhe findet sich kein Passschild, lediglich eine Bushaltestelle ("Bucher Höhe") und eine geschlossene Jausenstation ("Buchner Höh").
Too busy road, but no alternative, with a pull bike with lots of luggage, this is a very difficult climb with too much traffic.
Te drukke weg , maar geen alternatief , met een trekfiets met veel bagage is dit wel een heel lastige beklimming met veel te veel verkeer
