Nice little climb to use as a shortcut from Eckelrade to Bruisterbosch/Margraten/Banholt. Apart from the steeper bit halfway, it is otherwise mostly false flat.

Fun to take in because of the beautiful scenery. When it comes to climbing, this is not necessarily a challenge.

In terms of landscape, a nice climb on a slightly winding road with reasonable to good tarmac. The first part is already climbing but that is more of an undulation. After the short descent, the real slope starts. Not steep but nice although it does not last long after which a fairly long, lighter ascend follows until the T-junction. As already mentioned, a nice environment (and also very quiet). To the back sometimes nice views.
