An unexpectedly steep climb in this area. The (sometimes busy) road follows a long curve to the left where the slope becomes slightly steeper. The last part to the roundabout is a bit flatter but also here the road really climbs.
In the bend there is an "asphalt sidewalk" next to the road. It is unclear where you may or must cycle. The road is allowed (I haven't seen any specific prohibition signs) but in case of traffic the sidewalk in the bend can be a good option. The asphalt of the road is good, that of the pavement reasonable.
Een onverwacht pittig klimmetje in deze buurt. De (soms drukke) weg volgt een lange bocht naar links waarbij de helling steeds iets steiler wordt. Het laatste stuk tot de rotonde is weer iets vlakker maar ook hier klimt de weg wel degelijk.
In de bocht is naast de weg een "asfalt-stoep". Onduidelijk is waar je mag of moet fietsen. De weg is toegestaan (heb geen specifieke verbods- of gebodsborden gezien) maar bij drukte kan in de bocht de stoep een goede optie zijn. Het asfalt van de weg is goed, die van de stoep redelijk.
