It's a wonderful discovery to discover this sloping coastline, which is lush and green after starting out among the houses and is clearly little used. The route is narrow, but it's perfectly passable on a road bike. I found it to be in even better condition than the classic Alsemberg climb (Pastoor J. Bolsstraat).
