The climb is in two stages and when the flat bit comes after about 2-3rds of the climb this is already very welcome. Leuk alternatief om vanuit Ronse omhoog te rijden als je eens iets anders wilt dan de meer bekende klimmen zoals de Kruisberg of iets makkelijker wil dan de Schapenberg. Makkelijker is relatief natuurlijk. De klim is in twee trappen en wanneer het platte stukje komt na ongeveer 2-3e van de klim is dit al heel welkom. De weg is redelijk qua asfalt en je rijdt doorheen relatief bosrijke omgeving al zijn er een aantal huizen ook. De weg is smal dus tegemoetkomend verkeer kan vervelend zijn.
