An easy climb, first on a separate cycle path (still in green surroundings) and then on the road. After a somewhat steep start, the climb continues along a long urban street with little slope. As a climb it is not much fun, both in terms of scenery (except for the beginning) and in terms of slope. If you want to continue from Eilendorf through Brand to the Eifel, it is better to turn left after the viaduct into the Eilendorfer Strasse. After a downhill slope, there is a steeper uphill slope and greener surroundings. Moreover, you then cut off a piece and you are immediately on two descents.
Een eenvoudige klim die eerst over een vrijliggend fietspad (nog in een groene omgeving) en daarna over de straat verder voert. Na een enigszins klimmend begin volgt een lange straat in de bebouwde kom die maar weinig helling kent. Als klim is het dus niet veel soeps, zowel qua omgeving (op het begin na) als qua helling. Als je door vanuit Eilendorf door Brand naar de Eifel wilt kan je beter na het viaduct linksaf de Eilendorfer Strasse in slaan. Na een afdaling nog een pittiger helling omhoog en een stuk groenere omgeving. Bovendien snij je dan een stuk af en zit je meteen bij twee afdalingen.
