The Braeckepoort is the central axis from which several side roads lead to the final part of several short ramps. The starting point is the well-known steep wall of the Vestingstraat.
After the turn, the wide road lined with houses goes up false flat. When the buildings stop and the road narrows to 2 lanes it dives straight into the forest to end up on the plateau.
!!! If you go back downhill, in the forest part, there are not so bike-friendly sewage grates along the side!

Heavy climb the first 200 meters if you come from the track from the center of Aarschot and turn right because then it is a real wall and some super steep meters but once you turn left it is still a runner. Watch out for the many parked cars once you've turned left. The road is very wide everywhere and once you get to the last house on the left you can also turn left into a very small street (Leibergweg) that has a nice but steep S-curve.
