See that you have the right gear and then turn in the Boskouter. One effort and you're at the top. Very nice to do a short sprint in your lap. The slope is not long at all so you don't stall before the top. Not too steep either which means you have to downshift. Good road surface and little traffic. I find the Boskouter much less heavy and long than the Wijnpers.... read more

Good road surface and little traffic. I find the Boskouter much less heavy and long than the Wijnpers.

You can compare it to the Wine Press in Leuven city centre: similar gradient, similar length.

The big difference is the setting: on the Wijnpers you are flanked by terraced houses, on the Boskouter it is trees and the occasional driveway that set the scene. In that respect, the Boskouter is a more pleasant street to ride through. Ideal as extra interval training towards the Meesberg.

Very short steep climb under the trees, like there are a few others in the area.
Spur after rounding the top comes out in the Sneppenstraat (see Climbfinder Kloosterbos).

Quite a steep climb under the trees, but it's also over very quickly. It's also a wide but very quiet street.

Quite a nice climb that turns uphill. Certainly not too steep and there are quite a few cyclists.
The road surface is good and the road is narrow and surrounded by trees which gives a nice nature view.
The climb is located in an area where you can find many climbs in a radius of 3 km (Chartreuze and in Linden is a lot of climbing).
