Like quite a few climbs around here, this was long and shallow, with a good surface (in 2003!) - very even gradient. Fairly narrow and amazingly quiet late on a sunny June afternoon. Like quite a few climbs around here, this was long and shallow, with a good surface (in 2003!) - very even gradient.

Fairly narrow and amazingly quiet late on a sunny June afternoon. (They say June is the best month for visiting Ireland). The scenery is OK but not amazing until quite near the top, and is even better on the other side with a more rugged feel to it.
