There's nothing to put me off using it, and in some ways it's an easier option than either Chequers Lane or Oxford Road (Ibstone), since the gradients are easier. There are some fleeting views, but mostly it's high hedges and then hollow way. The bottom part is fun, with a steep start and tight bend, and a view down the valley to the left, but then it eases into the steady gradient that dominates the climb. But the gradient never reduces, and it can feel quite hard by the time you get to the top.
