There are few climbs with such different characters within them as this one. The first section rises - sometimes really steeply - from a very pretty stream valley over perfect tarmac on a car-free road. Near the farm (and the first summit), the road suddenly gets a lot worse and stays that way until the end of the climb - also in the intermediate descent where it is really careful because it ends in a right-angled bend (which is hard to see because of the trees) full of holes and grit. Then the road rises again - and through beautiful scenery - until the end.
