A forest road closed by a barrier - with a passage for cyclists and pedestrians. The first bit of road surface is a bit poor with a few metres of gravel but don't let that stop you because further on it gets a lot better and is fine for cycling - and the road leads through really beautiful surroundings.
The first part you follow a brook valley after which you cross the beautiful brook and on the other side it goes uphill for a bit and then it becomes flat - until the left turn because after that there are a few hundred metres of really steep metres where the hunting lodge (hochsitz) at the top is a nice aim. After that it is reasonable cycling out to the highest point.
It is nice to descend to the brook after that as you first get a nice waterfall and then the beautiful brook landscape to accompany it. After the stream, there is a small climb followed by an ever-decreasing and fairly straight road to the main road.
Throughout the climb, you hear the sound of many birds and almost continuous gurgling water from the many streams you cross. Really enjoy this climb.
