You can also take an earlier left turn before this climb if you come from Han-sur-Lesses. Then you get 50 metres of cobbles to 15% before doing the rest of the climb. As the track and landscape opens up after the last houses you encounter, it seems to get less steep. Still, the devil is in the tail here and you can definitely feel it.

Omdat de baan en het landschap na de laatste huizen die je tegenkomt open trekt, lijkt het minder steil te worden. Toch ziet het venijn hier in de staart en dat kan je zeker voelen.
