Korte klim vanuit centrum Simpelveld om "binnendoor" naar Bocholtz te gaan. Hierdoor hoef je niet via de rotonde aan de zuidkant van de bebouwing te rijden. Eerst stukje moet je even aanzetten en laatste deel is uitlopend vals plat.
Small climb out of Simpelveld with most of the energy in the beginning. Especially nice because of the staggered blocks of houses that indicate the slope nicely. In the first part, nice view to the back towards the church. Before the railway viaduct the road flattens a bit and then it goes along some houses and some greenery up to the T-junction at the end. Here you can turn right for some extra altimeters. Good tarmac.
Klein klimmetje Simpelveld uit waarbij de meeste pit in het begin zit. Vooral aardig vanwege de verspringende huizenblokken die mooi de helling aangeven. In het eerste deel mooi uitzicht naar achteren richting de kerk. Voor het spoorwegviaduct vlakt de weg even af waarna het langs enkele huizen en wat groen verder omhoog gaat naar de T-splitsing op het eind. Hier kan je evt. rechtsaf voor nog wat extra hoogtemeters. Goed asfalt.
