Beautiful and, to my mind, quite tough climb with beautiful views of both sides of the Matese. In particular, the views in the second part of the climb towards Cusano Mutri are magnificent. I struggled to get into my rhythm on many sections, but that may have been down to me. I actually managed to do this climb in the Christmas holidays, long live climate change - though I'm sure they will think otherwise at the top of the run-down ski village....
