Part of a very pretty path along the Unsung Forests and heathland. At the end, turn left in front of the hospitality area of the Posbank pavilion (also water tap)
Deel van een heel mooie weg langs de Onzalige Bossen en de heide. Aan het einde linksaf voor de horeca van het Posbank paviljoen (ook waterkraan)
There's too much to see around here to go flat out. Heath, forest, Highland cattle, maybe even a boar? Keep to the right side of the road, there is a lot of other traffic (bikes, hikers, electric scooters etc., but fortunately no cars). The climb is at most a piece of false flat where you with a few firm pedal strokes over the 'hupjes' comes.
Je kijkt hier veel te veel om je heen om keihard te gaan. Hei, bos, Schotse Hooglanders, misschien zelfs een zwijn? Blijf wel aan de rechterkant fietsen, er is aardig wat ander verkeer (fietsen, wandelaars, elektrische scooters e.d., maar gelukkig geen auto's). De beklimming is hooguit een stuk vals plat waar je met een paar ferme pedaalslagen over de 'hupjes' komt.
This is really a gem. The climb itself is not much and is mostly in the woods. But the approach from the Lange Juffer is fantastic. From mid August onwards the heather is in flower, and it is breathtaking. Beautiful tarmac too - when the concrete cycle paths are crowded with e-bikers and e-choppers, here you have beautiful and wide tarmac.
Dit is echt een juweeltje. De klim zelf stelt niet veel voor en is grotendeels in het bos. Maar de aanloop vanaf de Lange Juffer is fantastisch. Vanaf half augustus staat de heide in bloei, en is het adembememend. Prachtig asfalt ook - als de betonfietspaden vergeven zijn van e-bikers en e-choppers, heb je hier prachtig en breed asfalt.
