The ascent starts surrounded by forest with a persistently gentle gradient. In the second half, however, the picture changes abruptly. You then cycle through the Röbbeck industrial estate with a sustained gradient of mostly 7-8％. The whole thing is smooth and flowing. The road is also very wide in this area. However, the sometimes high ambient noise level and industrial odours can be annoying. However, as the lower section is really nice to drive on and has a nice landscape and the upper section is not a disaster either, I can still award 2 stars.
Der Anstieg startet umgeben von Wald mit anhaltend leichter Steigung. In der zweiten Hälfte wandelt sich das Bild jedoch schlagartig. Man fährt dann durch das Industriegebiet Röbbeck bei anhaltender Steigung von meist 7-8％. Das Ganze lässt sich gleichmäßig und flüssig fahren. Die Straße ist in diesem Bereich auch sehr breit. Die teils hohe Umgebungslautstärke und industrielle Gerüche können aber stören. Da der untere Abschnitt wirklich schön befahrbar ist und landschaftlich etwas hermacht und der obere Abschnitt jetzt auch keine Katastrophe ist, kann man durchaus noch 2 Sterne vergeben.
