One of the steeper climbs on the Way of the Roses (Morecambe - Bridlington). Starts easily from Settlee Market Place but starts to climb, initially over cobbles (not as bad as Paris Roubaix) then onto steep tarmac. The initial 1.15km is hardest before the road levels out, climbing gradually for the rest of the route.
