The Puerto de Betorz is a beautiful climb in the Siera de Guarra. Along the road there are signs per kilometre showing the percentages and how far you have gone. The road has beautiful tarmac and looks like a wide bike path. You will encounter a car sporadically, but you have the climb largely for yourself. During the climb you are treated to beautiful views and after a few kilometers the cute village of Lecina. You can fill your bottles at a tap there. The climb continues until the hamlet of Betorz where the road ends. Just before that you get a finish sign and a lot of beautiful views. Very nice climb that you really should not miss if you are in the area.
