Two-lane main road with wide lanes and good tarmac. The traffic is relatively moderate. The climb leads along the town hall through the "waterless valley" up to Emst. It is very easy to see, but can be mastered with a round kick, and becomes much flatter as the road bends to the right.
Zweispurige Hauptstraße mit breiten Fahrstreifen und gutem Asphalt. Der Verkehr ist verhältnismäßig moderat. Der Anstieg führt entlang der Stadthalle durchs "wasserlose Tal" hoch nach Emst. Er ist sehr gut einsehbar und mit einem runden Tritt durchaus bewältigbar, wird zudem deutlich flacher mit Abknicken der Fahrbahn nach rechts. Der letzte Abschnitt zur "Bergruthe" ist eher optional, die Herausforderung liegt klar in den ersten 700 Metern.
