From the main road, a tarmac road leads up to the car park in a nice way, after which a tarmac path follows until behind the restaurant. From here, the asphalt turns into good gravel - which is also well maintained. After the turn to the right, it goes up in several stages, sometimes quite steeply, and in combination with the gravel it poses quite a challenge. Eventually the road flattens out for a while... but then you're not there yet because the last part to the top is neatly paved and that is not for nothing as it goes up extremely steeply. Suddenly it flattens out and then you are at the summit with beautiful views (which you also have regularly along the way, by the way).
