What is special about this climb is that you cycle under the Perekop rock. You have more roads with rock formation but your these are just a bit more impressive. In terms of climbing, it is quite manageable. In the beginning, you can pedal nicely at fine percentages. Then it even flattens out and from the Perekop you get a slightly steeper stretch. When you leave the forest, you have the hardest part behind you but it still continues up to Berdorf.
Ridden it twice today in a tour of 30km each.
Very nice climb, not too long, great road surface, fantastic scenery (sometimes you imagine yourself in the real mountains).
There is some traffic due to road works in the area, but not too bad. They are used to cyclists here.
The climb is not too difficult. But wow, the middle part with all the rocks is beautiful! I was really surprised about the beauty and scenery. At the top it is quite bare and windy. The road surface is just like every road surface in Luxembourg of orgiastic quality.
Nice climb, beautiful rock formations (including the "Pérékop" rock) with the terrace of Hotel Pérékop as a reward!
