Because of the previous review, the gravel path to it indeed did not seem to me to be such'a good option. A better alternative is to descend from Steenberg/Muntelbeekstraat and then turn around at the start of the gravel path. The climb itself is nice and gradual and you can 'm extended a bit afterwards by taking the Sasput straight ahead. Not worth a diversion, but a fun climb if you're in the area.
Such a pity you have to pass gravel to approach this climb. Without the gravel I would definitely add this climb to my regular training route. Although the crossing in the middle kills the speed and with some bad luck you have to put foot on ground.
