Beautiful climb in beautiful surroundings and excellent road surface. The climb starts if you take the D220 from Les Deux Aygues after a good 3.5 km turn right to Beaumont. It is one of 4 options to cycle to Beaumont or better to climb. It is highly recommended, not too steep and actually varying gradients. The climb starts regularly ascending at about 5.5 to 6%. Halfway up, you then have the steeper part that rises to 10% before dropping back to fall flat. In the last km it then rises steeper again with the last 100m being the steepest. Careful because little to no shade. I did it on 26 July with my mountain bike, 32 degrees and barely had 300m of shade.
All 4 climbs to Beaumont are beautiful. Along this side it is perhaps the least difficult side . Once again beautiful scenery and climber's paradise though.
