A magnificent climb that is a must.
It's the highest (?) tarmac road in Greece, rising to 1905m.
We started in Pirra, about 40km before the start of the climb. We crossed the magnificent Aspropotamos valley.
The climb is quite steep. In summer you have to start early in the morning because in the alpine zone you are always exposed to the sun.
