A very beautiful and easy to ride climb into the Jura. It starts steeply at the bottom in the village of Hägendorf and leads through very nice residential areas. Further up, the route becomes flatter and leads into the Teufelsschlucht gorge, a narrow but very well-paved road along steep rock faces. At the top of the climb, the gorge opens up, you leave the forest and pass through fields to Bärenwil. Steady gradient, little traffic, very good road surface and great nature - what more could you want?
Ein sehr schöner und sehr gut zu fahrender Anstieg in den Jura. Unten geht es im Ort Hägendorf steil los und führt durch sehr schöne Wohngebiete. Weiter oben wird es flacher und führt in die Teufelsschlucht, eine schmale, aber sehr gut asphaltierte Straße an steilen Felswänden entlang. Am oberen Ende des Anstiegs öffnet sich die Schlucht, man verlässt den Wald und gelangt durch Felder nach Bärenwil. Gleichmäßige Steigung, wenig Verkehr, sehr guter Belag und tolle Natur - was will man mehr?
