Very challenging climb for novices, if they tell you that it is actually not as difficult as it was, don't believe them because they just want you to suffer. I experienced it for myself.

My garmin reported a small section 14％....then a few sections 11-12-13％....

Corta ma non adatta a chi è alle prime armi…
Not a very long but demanding climb...very hard in the last few kilometres, often at 10％, with only two hairpin bends where you can take a rest. It is a "tax" to be paid to continue cycling in the Valsassina. Quite busy.
Salita non lunghissima ma impegnativa...molto dura negli ultimi km, spesso al 10％, con solo due tornanti dove poter rifiatare. È una "tassa" da pagare per continuare a pedalare in valsassina. Abbastanza trafficata.
It is the first climb encountered when leaving Lecco for Valsassina. Often underestimated when combined with the climbs at Morterone or Pian dei Resinelli, but no less demanding.
Road often very busy and narrow in some places, be careful, especially downhill. Road surface in excellent condition
If done in the Autumn / Winter season, it is very shaded so beware of the ice.
