Well worth the slight diversions if you want to head towards Aachen from the High Fens, as it avoids a busy stretch and two traffic lights. In addition, it is a short but pretty vicious climb to the station. Good tarmac but some speed bumps.
Een kleine omweg zeker waard als je vanaf de Hoge Venen richting Aachen wilt want zo vermijd je een druk stukje én twee verkeerslichten. Daarnaast is het een kort maar best venijnig klimmetje zo bij naar het station. Goed asfalt maar wel wat drempels.
Recommended to take this small climb to get to Eupen station to avoid the main road. The climb in itself is not much, but can be ugly disappointing for those who already have a long and difficult ride behind them, for example coming from the High Fens or Eifel. The road is quite narrow but fortunately one-way for cars's.
Aanrader om deze kleine klim te nemen om naar het station van Eupen te gaan en zo de grote weg te vermijden. De klim op zich stelt niet veel voor, maar kan lelijk tegenvallen voor wie al een lange en lastige rit achter de kiezen heeft, bijvoorbeeld komende van de Hoge Venen of Eifel. De weg is behoorlijk smal maar gelukkig éénrichting voor auto's.
