At the top of the Drève, the cyclist turned right to head back down towards the lake, but it is possible to extend the climb as indicated here, albeit with less steep gradients.
In either case, the roads are in good condition, but with traffic that sometimes needs watching, as the Lac de Genval is a very busy place.
La partie la plus pentue, la Drève des Magnolias proprement dite, se trouve sur le parcours de la Super8 Cyclo, au moins lors de ces deux dernières années.
Comme cette montée n'est jusqu'à présent pas répertoriée dans la liste officielle des obstacles de la cyclo, c'est donc une surprise souvent douloureuse pour les jambes de ceux qui ne connaissent pas l'endroit :-)
En haut de la Drève, la cyclo tournait à droite pour redescendre vers le lac, mais il est possible de prolonger la montée comme indiqué ici, certes avec des pourcentages moins mordants.
Dans un cas comme dans l'autre, les rues empruntées sont en bon état, mais avec un trafic parfois à surveiller, le lac de Genval étant un endroit fort fréquenté.
