One of the many climbs in the neighbourhood known as Chant d'Oiseau, where Eddy Merckx spent his childhood. Most of this climb is a straight line dominated by the imposing Church of Our Lady of Grace, which can make it seem more difficult than it really is. There is also a school at the top. This is best avoided at times of religious ceremonies and school entrances and exits, when the streets are crowded with vehicles.
