Start on the ring road with asphalt road near sports park changing to cycle path detached from gravel road. Do not miss the turn-off to Lammertspad (ANWB mushroom). Then fun rollercoaster-like concrete slab cycle path with crafty curves.
Start aan de rondweg met asfaltweg bij sportpark die overgaat op van grindweg vrijliggend fietspad. Afslag naar Lammertspad (ANWB paddestoel) niet missen. Dan leuk achtbaanachtig betonnenplatenfietspad met listige bochtjes.
The first part of this climb is on a through road from Apeldoorn, surrounded by forests. The beautiful piece begins in my opinion when halfway right is turned to lammertspad. This is a relatively narrow concrete path (in very good condition) that meanders through the woods goes. Of course you will not encounter autos, so enjoy the tranquility. The percentages in themselves are not very high, but it goes up and down all the time, which makes it, in combination with the curvy character, a nice climb. Probably most cyclists prefer the climb towards Hoog Soeren, but this is a nice alternative if you regularly cycle here and want something different. Moreover, at the end of this climb you can still see a part of the climb towards Hoog Soeren. If your cornering technique is not great, I would be careful with making high speed on this part. Unfortunately I once left the path in the last bend, with a small slide as a result. A shame about the material.
Het eerste deel van deze klim gaat over een doorgaande weg vanuit Apeldoorn, omgeven door bossen. Het mooie stuk begint naar mijn mening als halverwege rechtsaf wordt geslagen naar lammertspad. Dit is een relatief smal betonpad in (in zeer goede staat) die kronkelend door de bossen gaat. Uiteraard kom je hier geen autos tegen, dus heerlijk genieten van de rust. De percentages an sich stellen weinig voor, maar het golft steeds omhoog en omlaag, wat het, in combinatie met het bochtige karakter, een leuke klim maakt. Vermoedelijk geven de meeste fietsers de voorkeur aan de klim richting Hoog Soeren, maar dit is een leuk alternatief als je hier regelmatig fietst en eens wat anders wilt. Bovendien kun je aan het eind van deze klim de klim richting Hoog Soeren nog deels meepikken. Als je bochten techniek niet geweldig is zou ik wel oppassen met hoge snelheid maken op dit stuk. Ik ben helaas zelf een keer van het pad afgeschoten in de laatste bocht, met een kleine schuiver tot gevolg. Toch zonde van het materiaal.
