Long climb that is rideable. The hard part is the last 4 km once you have crossed the Swiss border. In this part the gradient is constant at around 10%. The first part is also quite hard, but then there is a long stretch where you can take a rest, so overall the climb is absolutely doable. At the top there is a fantastic panorama of alpine pastures and an enchanting view of Lake Maggiore. If you like cheese, you can buy excellent local products at a small cheese dairy right at the top of the alp.

Salita lunga pedalabile. La parte dura sono gli ultimi 4 km una volta che si è valicato il confine svizzero. In questa parte la pendenza è costante intorno al 10%. Anche la prima parte è abbastanza dura ma poi vi è un tratto lungo in cui si può rifiatare per cui nel complesso l'ascesa è assolutamente fattibile. In cima panorama fantastico fatto di alpeggi e scorcio incantevole sul lago maggiore. Se si ama i formaggi si può acquistare ottimi prodotti locali in un piccolo caseificio proprio in cima all'alpe.
