Travelling along the Val d'Aveto, past Salsominore, you come to the Ruffinati hydroelectric power station. On the right, a small bridge over the Aveto stream leads to the start of the Lisore climb. It begins with a straight stretch at 17% that literally sends you "out of your mind". When the gradient drops to 12% it feels like taking a breather. Practically the entire climb is a succession of spurts at 12/13 and subsequent intervals just below double digits.
As well as at least three shoots to 17 and beyond. Zero cars, zero motorbikes, zero cyclists. Very tough :-)

Zero automobili, zero moto, zero ciclisti. Durissima :-)
