Wide national road that is thankfully quiet, even in high season. Not very exciting, although after the double hairpin with the turn-off to France there are some views. Ridden on an overcast rather humid and hot day and I was terribly bothered by stinging flies, so I rode faster and faster. I reached the top quickly, but once at the campsite in the shower I counted more than 10 bumps on my arms and legs.
