A good tarmac cycle path along a main road uphill (briefly a slope, then a flat section followed by the next slope) from a stream valley. You cycle along a landfill which still gives a sense of relief. Quite a green area but for the last bit you have to cross at traffic lights before turning left on cobbles to continue uphill.
Een goed asfaltfietspad langs een doorgaande weg omhoog (even een helling, dan een vlak deel waarna de volgende helling volgt) vanuit een beekdal. Je fietst langs een stortberg wat nog wel een gevoel van reliëf geeft. Best een groene omgeving maar voor het laatste stukje moet je eerst bij verkeerslichten oversteken voordat je linksaf over klinkers verder omhoog gaat.
First, a short climb on a perfect cycle path next to a main road. After the ascent flattens out, you turn off onto a through road where you can gain a few more metres in altitude on a footpath. The whole ascent runs through relatively green surroundings, but it is also relatively noisy and busy.
Zunächst ein kurzer Anstieg auf einem perfekten Radweg neben einer Bundesstraße. Nachdem der Aufstieg verflacht ist, biegt man in eine Durchgangsstraße ab, auf der man auf einem Gehweg noch ein paar Höhenmetersammeln kann. Der ganze Aufstieg verläuft durch eine relativ grüne Umgebung, allerdings ist es auch relativ laut und verkehrsreich.
