The part shown here is practically only 1/3 of the complete climb. The last section (where it becomes an agro-pastoral road) is only feasible by MTB and (perhaps) gravel due to the "non-slip" concrete surface, the water drains and the gradient often exceeding 20%. A really tough and demanding climb that immediately starts in double figures and apart from a short stretch gets steeper and steeper. When you come out of a hairpin bend and think you can catch your breath for a moment, a further increase in gradient appears in the distance. One of those climbs that you won't want to repeat for a long time.

A really tough climb.
The 2.2km marked here refers to the first section, the one from Maisano to the stanga.
Beyond these 2.2km there are a further 2.2km of asphalt and a further 1.2km of concrete. This last section is intended for Gravel bikes or MTBs.
The gradient of the entire climb is really impressive, always in double figures, with a central drop between 7% and 8%, where you feel like you are flying. Otherwise really hard, with peaks at 17-18%
Traffic is practically non-existent. The road surface is quite good. You are immersed in absolute silence.

Ultimo pezzo destinato a bici Gravel o MTB.
