Great climb with views and landscape that really change along the way! From the bridge at Pontegrande it's a steep first bit towards Bannio, continue through this village (which has a bar and small supermarket) to the smaller village of Parcineto, after it's a steep descent and then you continue climbing along a river through a green area. After Parcineto the road is a bit less wide, but still decent tarmac until the end.
